Founded: 1976 (active 1976-1977)

Principal: Matsuhisa Kojima

In the latter half of the 1970s it looked as if Kojima Engineering of Kyoto were beginning an assault that would end with as a major player in the world of single-seater racing.

F1 cars competed favourably in two Grands Prix and the F2 division performed well in domestic races. For some reason Matsuhisa Kojima, banana importer and moto-cross rider, who owned the operation elected to only race his cars in Japan and the expected rise to international levels never happened.

The company continued until the late 1980s as an F2 entrant.
