Sam Michael hired as McLaren Sporting Director

McLaren hires Sam Michael as Sporting Director 13 Sep 2011

Vodafone McLaren Mercedes is delighted to announce that Sam Michael will join the team as Sporting Director from the 2012 season onwards. With 18 continuous years in the industry, Sam is a hugely experienced Formula 1 professional.

The fuelling error in Singapore Q3 shows how much they need someone in this role, as well as the other errors that seemed to start with Button in Monaco 10.
