Should Spa and the French GP at Paul Ricard alternate?

Yes, it would be good to have the French GP back.

No, I want Spa every year regardless of the French GP taking place.

Zolder is a nice track, but I don't think its a nice F1 track.

Now that the French Presidential elections have been and gone with Hollande winning, we now know where the French GP will be held, and i am glad to welcome back Circuit Nevers Magny Cours.

If Sarcozy had won it was going to Paul Ricard.

For 2013 Magney will stay unchanged, however for 2015 the track will remain about 85% the same, but a new pit lane the other side of the pit straight and a new grandstand and fan facility constructed where the present pits are. The track change will see another chichane added just as you come under the bridge and an additional 450M section added so that the track is just a little longer bit more importantly there for a better pit lane entry.

I am looking forward to seeing Magney again!

Where have you this information from? I hadn't heard Magny-Cours was an option. I thought it was always going to be at Paul Ricard. However, I would much prefer a race at Magny-Cours.

Spain's two Formula 1 races in Barcelona and Valencia will alternate from 2013 while a return to France is looking less likely, according to F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone

The previous French Grand Prix circuit at Magny-Cours was in an area of rural France where jobs are scarce, leading to speculation that would again become the favoured venue for economic reasons.

Ecclestone's family trust owns Le Castellet and the 81-year-old has been firmly opposed to any return to Magny-Cours, a track with little appeal for sponsors and VIPs.

Guys, it's official:
new President, Mr. Hollande, said that no public money will be spent on organizing an F1 race. The news came about two hours ago.

Spa is the best race on the calendar, don't EVER alternate.
I've found a way of ducting exhaust right to the diffuser edge like in 2011 and created a new wheel fastener that could allow sub 2 second pitstops see them here --> My 2013 F1 Concept Project

Definitely no!

Infact Bernie should be paying the Belgians to host a GP at such a legendary venue. =D>

I wouldn´t call it "the best" but it certainly is in the top few, much better than both Magny and P. Ricard! Should be on the calender every year :)

I disagree.

Spa is the best track on the calender, by some margin. You can't build classics such as Spa; it should be on the calender for eternity.

Someone obviously did build Spa though - it isn't a forest path honed and refined over millennia by migrating deer.

It's a great track and deserves its place but doesn't always produce the best races in any given year.
