Bernard Dudot is shortly to join the Renault F1 Team, where he will assist Flavio Briatore, Managing Director of the Renault F1 Team, in managing the team's Engine unit at Viry-Châtillon (France).

Bernard Dudot, 64 years old, graduated from the Paris CESTI (Centre d'Études Supérieures de Techniques Industrielles) engineering school. He was Technical Director of Renault Sport from 1980 to 1997 and was the brains behind the V10 engines which powered Renault to six F1 World Championship titles between 1992 and 1997. He joined Prost Grand Prix in November 1997 as Technical Director. In April 2001, he was assigned responsibility for Nissan's IRL programme in the United States. He has been Technical Director at MCT (Menard Cheever Technologies) since April 2002.
