yeah, I think they are waiting for track temperature and for it to be rubbered up a bit... I think they will maximise their efforts later today...

Indeed, even if very light on fuel track temps are pretty low and the track is pretty much green.

Was it wet for the race? 6 seconds off pole is a lot of desparity I guess not if everyone with pace was on hards for the last stint

Looks like the track is indeed comming to them already
S. Vettel Red Bull 1:24.348

If every hour 1 second go's of the top-time , we'll end up under 1:15 :)

No it was a dry race, 4-stop strategy for most drivers.

4 stops should have lead to faster laps in the last stint with lowest fuel :?
Shu must have been running low fuel with new softs to get that 1:21 in practice.
Plus it is cold as hell. They will get there by the end of the week I guess :D

Yes, from this table u can see Hamilton's time was on Hard Tires, last stint. Im curious what tires Vettel and Hamilton just used now.

Heikki's spun off. Is the Caterham too much to handle, or is there just an unparalleled and unexpected boost in performance [-o< ?

Last year's pole time was a 1:20.9, given that this is probably the highest aero circuit of the year, we might be looking at a second to a second and a half's penalty from last year... I'd say if someone gets into the 1:22s in testing then 1) it will have been a very light car 2) the car is probably pretty damn quick. I'd expect in reality, due to sand bagging a low 1:23 will be the fastest we'll see in testing.

Autosport reporters are having fun timing reaction times of Marshalls and how long does it take for a truck to load a messed up car from the gravel traps... Jerez marshalls were faster they say, funny stuff, but i guess everything comes into play in times of economical crisis to choose future GPs.
