I'd have Ferrari's 1989 win in Brazil for Our Nige, or Alonso's win yesterday in Malaysia.

Indeed.

Actually What Kimi did there was brilliant...plus it was a dry race.

No perfect tyre changes to help you a lot like in wet races...like yesterday Ferrari had brilliant pit calls...which helped Fernando a lot.

Silverstone is was a good race for Alonso...but is over exaggerated...pretty much by Pierce..

Ferrari was head to head with RBR in SIlverstone...Ffs Massa was faster than both Mclarens and took 4th place in Qf's...while Fernando was only 0.1 behind RBR's in QF's....hardly to call it a miracle....

THere are bunch of drivers who won a race like that one.

I would nominate the 1996 Ferrari truck driven by Schumacher in Spain that year.
Or Oliver Panis's Ligier 1996 in Monaco

The Ferrari may have been a tad rubbish, but to finish 2nd in the WCC says it wasnt so bad. Eddie Irvine almost amassed as many points at the Ligier team that year.
So Panis' win was far more worthy than Schumachers.

I know its off topic, But i was just looking at results. and in 1997 on 1 team had a 1-2 finish in the whole year! and it was Mclaren! shows how bad Frentzen & Irvine were.

Was Schumacher Ferrari 1996 not the one he was stuck in 5th gear? I thought he finished 2nd that year. Maybe I'm thinking of the wrong year

Was it? I seem to remember it being a Ferrari. I could be wrong.

I think yesterday's in the F2012 has to be a major contender - made all the more noteworthy by the fact that it wasn't really due to crashes/technical failures of the "fastest" cars. OK some did crash, but he wasn already leading by that point.

Obviously, I'm slightly (purposely) missing the point here - the '96 Ligier/'03 Jordan may well have been a worse car. But it got the win by virtue of others' failures, it wasn't dragged there, kicking and screaming like the F2012.

Fissi scored 12 points overall, His team mate only got 1 point. and this is in an era when points went down to 8th.

Without a doubt the 1981 Ferrari 126CK, which Gilles won with in Spain that year, with a train of four cars behind him,
all within a second. A magical driver turning a 700 Hp shitbox into a race winner, a feat he somehow repeated at Monaco.
