We'll see. I guess we will get more information once all the dealings are complete.

It looks like I have been not so far off the money.

Great find WhiteBlue! Btw, is it true Mclaren is 50% owned by Bahrain govt? Afaik, it's stake stood at 30%, Ron and Mansour have 40% each after the buy-back of shares from Mercedes.

The shares were divided between the other shareholders, with the Mumtalakat Holding Company currently holding 50%, and Ron Dennis and the TAG Group holding 25% each.

Edit: btw your math is wrong, 30% + 40% + 40% = 110% :P

So it was a piston failure for Pastor last time out. No mention of any updates:

Yeah, really solid showing from Williams. Both drivers seem to be showing better and better race pace as well, although I still don't like Maldonado's agression at times. He can often over do it.

Im pretty excited here!
The is the 1st time since I can't remember that Williams is on the front row.
Understanding that this may be a one off, Im just excited for the team and for us fans that Pastor was able to put it in #2. I have to say I can't believe it has all come together so well for Willaims.

Fingers crossed for a good race and an unreasonable result!
(Pastor start to flag!)
I'm buying a bottle of champagne for tomorrow just in case!
Cheers all!

I just realized.. What if Raikkonen joined Williams like he was supposed to. I guess the Williams would be a serious contender.
Maldonado had a great qualifying, and the pole was very deserved but I just can't see him finishing on the podium tomorrow.
Senna was painfully slow once again, if not for the name he has no right to be in F1.

Doh! ok but before that! =) Sorry was too excited.

And I agree, it will be tough for Williams to maintain their position over the race, however it seems like they are in a better position to do that now then when Hulk got his pole. (Said with my glass half full goggles on!)

It would have been great to see Kimi or Ruben's in this car. I hope Williams can keep this pace over the remainder of the season!

@theblackangus +1

IMO this pace is more "genuine" than Hulk's. That Brazilian pole was a tyre lottery. This time Maldonado has been hovering near the top all saturday.

16 of 21 Barcelona Grands Prix was won from pole. Here's hoping for #17.
Too bad for Senna. He'd actually won here in GP2 btw.
