Grosjean quickest again as Mugello testing comes to an end 3 May 2012

As the third and final day of the in season test at Mugello came to end, Lotus-Renault's Romain Grosjean was once again the quickest around the Tuscan circuit. Close behind was RBR's Sebatian Vettel who finally took over from his teammate, with Ferrari's Fernando Alonso rounding out the top three.

"new" Ferrari already destroyed by Alonso, ripped off nose, damaged suspension, source AMuS

maybe new "Mercedes-style" exhaust cooked the suspension or Alonso just overdid it, because he had two pink before the incident...

Alonso's car stopped on the track just after leaving pit lane.

Attack of the Hydraulics ghoul?
If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.

according to @insideferrari (twitter) they will need two hours to get the car going again due to damages...

Alonso has gone off track at Correntaio corner. Damage to the front end. And @insideferrari just reported on twitter that it will take two hours to repair the damage.

Someone just said Alonso crash the car and damaged the nose and suspension...can anyone confirm this please?

Sad thing is it had to happen on a day when every second was important for Ferrari. I hope the 2 hours lost now won't hamper their program much.

I know the attendance costs are different, but it's kind of ironic to see more people in the stands for a test than for some actual GP weekends.
