HAHAHA! of all clips you "picked" was a car much more superior to the vehicle it was overtaking coupled with Marcus being on cooked tires by lap 11 Massa' soft tires were coming to the fore.

le sigh, find me an equally paced overtake rather than a poorly balanced Sauber vs a car with superior mechanical grip / balance Ala Williams.

Marcus Ericsson (car number 9):
Sauber C34-Ferrari (Chassis 04/Ferrari)
“It was not a bad race for me. I had some nice fights, but at the same time I had to defend my position. Overall the car felt good to drive, but we just didn’t have enough pace today. We were not able to fight for points the way we would have hoped for. Now we need to look into the data and see what we can do that is better for the next race.”

You chose some selective (therefore worthless) pseudo-examples to prove the point you cannot prove and you are laughing at others? Yes you found ONE example but you'd need check 20 races to find something similar.

Let me explain then: how you used to overtake in F1? You didn't. This is selective nostalgia driven memory, I'll give you mine selective example, everyone seems to remember Montoya - Schumacher Spa chicane (let's forget tyres aspect and speed difference - so called "artificial" racing) but no one seems to remember that Montoya attempted something similar later and collided with Trulli, then his tyre "de-laminated" (if you believe wikipedia I don't remember) So how about that for an example of how you used to overtake in F1 (or rather not) and this is how you do it now:
Grosjean - Hamilton Valencia should be an exhibition example of brilliant DRS overtaking (check when DRS stops and out-braking starts)

Of course I selectively chose which videos / images to share...its the caption thread. It went sideways after Manoah decided to turn a harmless image / video into a debateable topic.

This is one of the very few topics that still has some form of freedom / humour, so please lets get back to posting images etc.

you put these videos up here claiming how good WEC is today, and how bad overtaking in F1 is today.
the topic is for humourous captions.
you post a thread that tries to raise a point. thus is asking for debate.

either way, i'm not going to continue in this point as it's pointless either way - your reply shows as much.
