Going into next year with an empty "play book" no knowledge of race tracks, past setups etc...
I don't think you could do it with two rookie drivers on a new team, getting someone that is in F1 right now would seem beneficial for the whole team, at lest you could check one box off

Being an American, I just want the best people for the job with F1 experience from crew to drivers. Haas needs to get their feet wet and perhaps eventually this can peak more US interest in the sport and also foster development programs for eventual American drivers, but ultimately I could careless as long as the team progresses and shows promise along the way.

Those two little dot thingies are not on the keyboard this side of the globe.
It is but it's in the alternate keyboard, and it's damned picky but why not form a Zealot.
BTW .. It's found by holding down the alt key and hitting 129  ü

Guys my comment was purely informative. Nothing more. Since one Guy even thought it offensive enough to downvote i just wanted to clarify that. I know the ü doesn't exist in English, it was more the berg/burg i thought needed a hint to correct. It's someones Family Name after all. No need to make a big deal out of it.

Peace and apologies for any confusion, no offence was intended.

Like it's Räikkönen and not Raikkonen?

No, like one would call Lewis by the Family Name of Hamiltun except of Hamilton, or Sebastian Vuttel instead of Vettel.
The berg/burg part of Nico's Name. As i wrote in my post above. Not the missing dots, the different letters.

It's not the umlaut, it's the berg/burg that I was unable to spell correctly.
As per above, I was incorrect, Thunders pointed it out, I appreciated that.

Let's just get back to Haas shall we?

Indeed, where will this team be based, didn't they buy something in the UK?

If my Memory serves me right the Car will be built and developed in America, but they have a UK Base where they will prepare and Service the Cars for the Races. (didn't Haas buy the old Caterham Facility? )

But why don't they use the Windshear tunnel?

Because F1 is only allowed to use 60% Scale Models for Wind Tunnel Testing and it's too expensive to Up (or Down)grade the Windshear Tunnel only for the F1 Project. At least that's what i heard.

In theory this would be prety much the best Wind Tunnel you can get.
