Pole Position Statistics

guys, dunno if this is the right place to put this topic, but can you help me out.

Most poles in a season + most consecutive poles for this driver:

e.g.:

vettel: 15 (2011) + 5 (2011)

now can you help me out for:

alonso:

It depends on how you want to count. I assume Beelsebob counted consecutive pole positions per season - I didn't. Senna was on pole 6 consecutive times in 1988, but he was also on pole for the last 3 races in 1988 and the first 5 races in 1989, therefore bringing his total to 8.

Most consecutive is different because I assumed that you wanted most consecutive within a season.

most consecutive pole positions: 4 (2013)
most pole positions per season: 7 of 18 -> 38.9% (2008)

Dude is 4th on the career pole list and if this season continues playing out as it has been, he'll move up to 3rd before its over.

He could be on pole for quite some time, especially as we come to track he likes.

Cant believe that Gilles Villeneuve only had one pole! I don't really know too much about him, only that many regarded him as a great driver.
