Programming in F1

Post

Hi guys!

I'm still doing my BSc in Software Engineering and my goal would be a job in one of the F1 teams, so help me decide in which way should I go to get in the business. My problem is that I don't really know what kind of jobs are there which need some kind of programming and I don't know the requirements for them as well. It would be awesome if somebody could give me some useful informations! :)

Visit all the teams web pages, look at their jobs sections, and inspect their requirements. Done.

Note though, one of the things that any good programming job will want you to do is be flexible. Make sure you get as much of the theoretical stuff from your degree as you possibly can, despite what a noisy bunch of people will tell you repeatedly, it really is important, and used in industry all the time.
