I would not mind that if they do what Germany does and rotate the GP´s.
That´s only good news because we get variation but still retain the venues.

Thanks :)
I´ll just sprinkle some crack over the body and make it look like a drug deal gone bad ;)
Even if they find out you did it I don't think anyone will blame you ;)

They upgraded to a grade 1 status a few years ago yet strangely the circuit was never mentioned in the merry go round when Valencia pulled out and the Nurburging had their own troubles. Istanbul Park & Paul Riccard were mentioned by both the specialist press and even the wider media to replace Valencia but not Imola.

I'd love to see Imola back, but not at the expense of Monza.

Imola is one of the worst tracks out there for F1 thesedays. Nothing but a boring procession. Monza over Imola.

Nice graph and very telling. Kind looks like this one too, which tends to lean towards not being a country centric phenomenon, but a global trend. Interestingly though, some data points to revenue being ok, even with the massive drops. Perhaps this is why FOM is not concerned? Who knows. The audience figures don't look great do they? Still can't fathom why this resistance to go to digital.

Have you seen the new Imola where it's a straight run from Rivazza 2 down to the Tamburello? It's closer to the way the circuit was when it opened in 1963 where it was flat-out from Rivazza 2 all the way down to Tossa!

"I do not think we'll do another contract, the old one was a disaster from the commercial point of view," he is quoted as saying by the Italian media. "After 2016, bye bye!" he added.
If only this was a statement made by F1 team owners about Bernie everyone would be happy.. :D

Well, except the old fart, but who would care?
