Ferrari crash in bavaria ...amazingly the driver survived with severe injuries...60 (!)firemen ,16 rescuecars a helicopter were in charge ...26trees were destroyed the drivers seat complete with drivers side floorpan was severed from the main car held only by wire and cabling dangling from the right side of the car ....apparently the Car flew ito the trees at considerable height ...

I was really surprised that there wasn't some pretty harsh penalty for this, sending car out that was clearly dangerous to both the driver and spectators seems worth a decent penalty.

Wendlinger at 1994 Monaco GP.

He never recovered enough for F1 (he tried but with no success) although he did share a couple of class wins at Le Mans a few years later.
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.
