When was the First Heave spring introduced in F1 ?

I would say late 90's for the first triple(heave being the 3rd) spring setup.

Tough but... if i remember it correctly i first heard of it on a Mclaren in 97(which might not have been the first car to have it).

Monoshock fronts had existed for a while, but it had tradeoffs compared to traditional corner springs, until this new idea combined the 2 designs.
