Senna Hologram

Post

Hi everyone, I heard that today Tag Heuer introduced a new watch and that they where going to create a hologram of Senna. Now is my Question: how do you guys feel about that?

I think that would be really neat to see.

They've already done hologram concerts with tupac, Elvis and Michael Jackson to mixed but mostly positive reviews. They seem to bring emotions out in some people more so than a movie.

I heard about the concerts. it looks cool to me but i think there is a difference because the holograms at the shows where for entertainment and i guess the one of Senna is also used for marketing.

They're both intended to generate profits, so I don't really see them as different. Their names, images and work are also already used to drive profits posthumously so I simply see this as a different medium.

But I can also understand if people have reservations against it. As for me...I see nothing wrong with it.

Thanks for sharing the tweet! I wonder if there are more pictures or a clip.

What if they actually made a watch where upon pressing a button you would see a small 15cm hologram of Senna appearing on the watch. Like him "standing" on the watch and looking at you with his helmet in his hands?

personally i really dont like this hologram trend. i feel the same with Senna as with Tupac,
it's tasteless and disrespectfull for the person itself. Let them rest in peace, let them have
their had lives, and don't commercialise it into something 'you' want over a dead body just
because there's $$ in there still.

while also sending off 4 Hamilton players to make it more interesting"

Could not disagree with you more. If if he were alive somewhere 'am sure Senna would approve of it if it helps his family get some more financial income and it is celebrating him.

Rest in peace? I don't see anybody defiling his grave... any demons have taken his soul yet? (lol)

The Bible says "In the realm of the dead, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom."

Senna is dead, he has no clue what is happening in this world. I say let his family milk his image for every penny as long as it is not too dishonourable.

The model is pretty good, but the animation is very unnatural. Hmm a bit disappointing. Why go through so much trouble and higher weak animators?

I did expect a bit more to be honest. The tupac hologram was pretty amazing to see and i expected the same realism but still a good job.
