The limits on testing are fine. The practice sessions on Friday should be enough to get the aero and chassis sorted. The problem with the limits is engine development. The teams that need to update the engines are basically running new engines without real world testing. Renault have proved that dyno performance is no guarantee for performance on track.

To fix this they should allow unlimited engines for a couple of Fridays for manufacturers and an extra Friday engine for costumers. This will allow costumers to run extra tests on those Fridays for free and manufacturers to update the engine without being in the dark about their performance on track.

Edit: Did I mention manufacturers should be allowed to spend the tokens throughout the season?
