Tracks in Google Earth

Post

I do not know how many of you have Google Earth. I recommend it.

Anyway, here is a (yet another) kmz file with the location of all the circuits for 2006.

http://www.geocities.com/ciroalbertopabon/Circuitos.htm

Click on 'All 2006 Formula 1 Circuits' and then click in the 'kmz' file you will see. Google Earth will show you the circuits.

Some of them are missing (Bahrain, Istanbul, China) and some are hard to see (Sepang, Spa, Monza). Some are really cool to watch.

Thanks, Manchild, I found that link most interesting. It took me to some other links, and then, after almost a week of spare time I updated and enhanced it as I wanted to. viewtopic.php?t=2424

I would love too see the modern F1 machines take on the old Paul Ricard. Would they still reach 210? They should easily be able to take that last corner at the end of the straight flat. And what about that first l/r flick (I think de Anglis died there sadly).

Circuit de Nevers is near a small town called Magny-Cours. If you type in "Magny-Cours" and then fly south just over 3.5km or 2.25miles you will see it all bright and clear in high resolution to :D

Here is the complete list of circuits I built (http://www.geocities.com/ciroalbertopab ... os_eng.htm), in case anybody is looking for one of them (it includes, of course, Paul Ricard).ç

All circuits have the coordinates of the inner side of the finish line (!) and the view I gave coincides with the link I provided for the layout of the circuit. Finally, there is a link to the Wikipedia article for all F-1 circuits given.

I INCLUDED ALL F-1 CIRCUITS EVER, official races since 1950. Sorry for shouting, but I thought you haven't heard me. :D

Finally, for those of you infatigables guys, here is what you will see if you double click on the top of the list of 1950-2005 "historical" circuits: an abstract and beautiful view of Paul Ricard.

Thanks for the link manchild. Don't want to ask too much, but do you have a pic or a drawing of the track wich shows the short layout, cause there are severals transversals junctions and I'd like to know on wich layout they make lap times under 1'00"000 mn there.

Ciro, awsome job! Big bravo! =D>
