The torro rosso chassis is one of the best. With the 2015 engine it would be faster than the works ferrari. So i put it in 3rd place next year.

maybe so but remember Ferrari gets the slimmer 2016 engine and torro rosso gets the "fat" 2015 engine... design changes will have to happen... who knows whose chassis will be great next year

This is my prediction:

Ferrari/Mercedes - tight battle for both championships.

WIL, FI, MCL, RBR & STR fighting for points & podiums on regular basis, and maybe a race win with some ''crazy'' performance by some of their drivers or race heavily influenced by weather or incidents.

RenoF1, Sauber - fighting at the back with chances to score points at some races.

Haas & Manor - I cant really say, but I think they will be at the back for most of the races.

1-Ferrari: Large strides over the winter, especially in aero. They have to save face before rules change in 2017.
2-Merc: Double WCC&WDC gives Merc fewer reasons to push for 2016. Diminishing returns and new rules will push them into focusing for 2017.
3-Williams: They've been working on the '16 car for quite some time now, I expect them to be very strong next year. Race win capable strong.
4-Force India: Good momentum from this year and extra money from Aston Martin will carry them forward.
5-Red Bull: With the interim engine deal, they will be quite a way down the field. Thus, they will also focus on 2017.
6-Toro Rosso: Will develop a good chassis but 2015 Ferrari engine is not enough. May fight for podium on slower tracks.
7-McLaren: Honda gets the engine somewhat working, but they will still have large deficits, power and chassis-wise. Big fallout at the end of 2016 in McLaren.
8-Haas: New team, faces unforeseen problems in the season. Grosjean regularly gets some points, Guti rarely in the points.
9-Renault: Has a lot to fix in Lotus. Engine needs to be developed a lot. Two mediocre pay drivers.
10-Manor: Merc engine deal and Williams tech deal carries them forward, but very short on cash and inexperienced staff.
11-Sauber: Short on cash. Mediocre management.

I'd like to say that 4-7 will be very close to each other.

I'm VERY excited for 2016!

Well, this being a fantasy thread, my fantasy is that Q1 will be much more interesting and unpredictable next year.

1. Merc - If they turn it up, the car is in average nearly a second away of the competition at the moment. I can not see a reason, why Ferrari should out develop them by a second over the winter.
2. Ferrari - Where they are now. clearly better then Williams, but no way to get close to Merc.
3. Williams - Pretty much the same as now.
4. RedBull - Good car and maybe some development on the engine
5. Toro Rosso - Better engine, but the Ferrari engine will hurt their downforce. Nevertheless the others are worse
6. FI - The engine will save them on high speed tracks.
7. Sauber - Will profit from the engine.
8. McLaren - Hard to guess if ahead of Renault or not...I expect not much development.
9. Renault - Bad car and bad engine.
10. Haas - Will compete with Manor or whoever is last. As Noobs they will struggle as every Noob.
11. Manor...or whoever.

Yes, but RB will have a very good chassis masking the bad engine like this year and Renault will have a bad chassis with a bad engine. Every small, but positive engine update will, of course, help RedBull. I do not see what else than a Merc engine can help Renault.

Lotus, going to be Renault, had a Mercedes engine this year and couldn't amount to much. I am fearing their worse year ahead with the current (evolved) chassis and a back of the grid engine from Renault. Add to that a crashator and a rookie drivers. A Recipe for a total disaster.
