Well...the FE concept looks like a racecar from the future. F1, on the other hand, appears a sophomoric assemblage of unused fighter jet canards.

Is this the future of F1

ditch the wheelcovers and i'm fine with it.
Yeah makes FE look like a sportscar

F1 should have similar cockpit arrangement but the rest remain the same as it is now

It would be fun if F1 knock off the air box , front and rear wing though

Exactly, wings are for Dinosaurs. We can keep pretending that "wings" are high tech or admit the obvious and move towards actual performance.

compare wings of the 90's to wings of 2016 and i think you'll be fairly schooled to think wings are NOT high tech..........come on, for real.

High tech? ...most definitely. However, I am completely flummoxed as to the the pertinence of asphalt track cars whose wings have multiple winglets which in turn sport multiple canards which then terminate in various flares/foils/diffusers/diverters. At this rate, we are precipitously close to overtaking becoming an airborne endeavor... just fly over the top...DRS to be replaced by ARS (aero reversal system).

...all these aero advancements will mandate drastic reductions in horsepower.

sry for little ot,

but if they want to make this windscreen idea work they have to make cpomplete new chassis regs where a winscreen would much easier and less artifixial to implement, not to speak of the funtionality too^

so when I see this here:

this would work much better with this kind of design.

Maybe Brawn has the guts to neuter the FW, bring back large venturi tunnels and Have a modern 1970/1980ies revival with ultra secure cars. Kind of rethink everthing. RW is neutered too, but kept for sheer prsence and advertisng means.

I have just read this myself and have tried to find images of the proposed shield and the Autosport one is the only thing I can find, are there any other images of the new shield system.
