He's denying it. But then so did Pat Symonds.

I can't believe he's lasted this wrong, I can't count the times I've been screaming at him through the TV.......

I believe so, Herbie Blash retired at the end of last season (another Brahamnite).
If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.

On a lighter note, may be Seb Vettel can give him a farewell speech!

Same here. He has done a great job during many years but he has become an overcautious man. F1 needs epic races again.

I don't know if the initial report/link is accurate, but the subsequent link where Charlie denies leaving is irrelevant because it's from several months ago in 2016.

well considering that no major autosport sites such as motorsport.com, f1fanatic, autosport and especially formula1.com is reporting
this is probably just sensationalist here say and "fake" news

That's an easy statement to make while not being the one responsible for the health and safety of everyone on and around the track. Also you have to consider what exactly is Charlie responsable for, that has been detrimental to F1? The lack of epic races certainly isn't his fault. Also, is his successor likely to be any better? ...just some stuff to think about.
