Farewell to Edouard Michelin

Post

I have been waiting for a while for someone to post something about the sad new of the death of Edouard Michelin. I read maybe a year ago that he really "had worked the company", from the bottom, and represented one of the few third generation managers that had merits for the position. He was hand-picked by his father over his older brothers if I remember well. It is absurd for an ex-navy officer to die like this.

I am sorry, really.

Yes I saw the news an hour ago. Do you know what they call a boat accident? I mean he was driving a boat and collided with another, or the boat sank for some reasons?
Anyway that's a sad news, rest in peace Edouard.

Appointed head of the company by his father Francois, Edouard joined the production line at the factory at Clermont Ferrand, working under an assumed name. He subsequently gained experience throughout the company before assuming the top position in 1999.
Simon: Nils? You can close in now. Nils?
John McClane: [on the guard's phone] Attention! Attention! Nils is dead! I repeat, Nils is dead, ----head. So's his pal, and those four guys from the East German All-Stars, your boys at the bank? They're gonna be a little late.
Simon: [on the phone] John... in the back of the truck you're driving, there's $13 billon dollars worth in gold bullion. I wonder would a deal be out of the question?
John McClane: [on the phone] Yeah, I got a deal for you. Come out from that rock you're hiding under, and I'll drive this truck up your ass.
