Anybody has a link to a good site about how the setup of F1 cars works? I tried to find one but no luck. Any help welcome.

Click on the Williams section, then clikc the 'Allianz Safety Focus 2006'. Choose from the drop down list and choose the 'Harmonious Technology' link. I don't know if this helps ya. :wink:

I've already tried that one, but its too general. I'm looking for something with a lot more detail, how the different parts work together and how they apply in different circuits. anyone else?

AFIK those bars are there to carry sensors to record dynamic tyre temperature readinsg.

What you want is the book 'Science of F1 Design' by David Tremayne. Every single detail about the F1 car is written in it and it is in simple language so you dont need an engineering degree to understand the book. I bought it a week ago, its awsome. Check out this site:
