Briatore did offer a solution or two to what he sees as F1's problems, as he proposed reverse grids and Grand Prix held at night. He asked: "Why always (start the race at) 2pm? It's a stupid time - to watch a Grand Prix you have to f*** up your whole Sunday."
Simon: Nils? You can close in now. Nils?
John McClane: [on the guard's phone] Attention! Attention! Nils is dead! I repeat, Nils is dead, ----head. So's his pal, and those four guys from the East German All-Stars, your boys at the bank? They're gonna be a little late.
Simon: [on the phone] John... in the back of the truck you're driving, there's $13 billon dollars worth in gold bullion. I wonder would a deal be out of the question?
John McClane: [on the phone] Yeah, I got a deal for you. Come out from that rock you're hiding under, and I'll drive this truck up your ass.

BTCC held a few promising night races, I never saw them but I gather it was very much a case of 'there's a big car leading, followed by a slightly smaller one, and a black one.' 'Oh no, someones had a spin, shame we can't tell who it is!'

And that was just the drivers.

If you race at night, the entire track has to be illuminated very well. In NASCARland, they have Saturday night races, to great success. The track is lit up with a zillion lights, and everyone can enjoy the evening cooler weather, drink themselves silly, and have Sunday to recover.

Well thats great for circles. But will be impossible to get the light even close enough to the track, let alone enough of them to show the whole track.

I'm sure the citizens of Monte Carlo would love to try and sleep through 16,500 bhp flying around the streets.

They are stuck for room at the best of times at Monaco. Having to install new, bigger and brighter lights there would be a difficult task.

Even better Flav:

Extract from F1Racing Magazine:

"Look when we finish this interview, you and me, we leave the room right?"
"Erm, yes." (where the hell is this going?!)
"Well there are some people [Ron Dennis] who will say, well then I'm going to find a better way, maybe I'll remove the window, or even the celing and leave that way. But first I'll pay my people lots of money to find the best, and most expensive way of removing the window or celing. Crazy."

LMAO!
