That's one scary machine. I like it but i don't want to and i don't know why.
It'll never pass pedestrian safety tests anyway :)

As for the technology, nothing new. A battery pack and four wheel mounted 273-hp motors. Pretty simple really, just big motors is all.

As for the styling, I like the theme of the Audi grilles front and rear for it's flow through design. But it could have been incorporated into something other than an ugly car that is derivitive of recent Audi show cars. It's ugly. I've always thought that the French really had the upper hand in autombile sculpting over the Italians, but you wouldn't guess that from this car.

I would like to see a sports car with diesel-electric power like a locomotive. Have a smallish (600-750 cc) turbo-diesel running at a fixed rpm for efficiency coupled to a generator which would power four wheel mounted motors.

Yeah, Spyker, they are. But if you read the article, it was designed by two French students at a French school.

Know so much about Audi? What do the four interlocking rings represent?

Represents the four brands Audi, Horch, DKW and Wanderer to form the Auto Union. The Auto Union were the first to use it.

The person designing the logo run out of ideas. He started with a single ring, thinking this represents that the car can go around for 100,000 km's. Then he thought it must be good for 200,000 km's and added another ring. And so came the 3rd and 4th too, to represent that Audi's are good for 400,000 km's.

Later on the same person was assigned to design a logo for the Opel. Again, he started with a ring to represent the car's good for 100,000 km's. But immediately thought who's he kidding and draw a sign for electrical failure over it.

(of course I'm only joking)
