Pffft! That's nothing.

208 pts behind the overall leader. Basically, getting back into it requires something unlikely by now. But I'm still hoping it isn't as bad as it looks. Over half my team

(Ferrari, Renault, Raikkonen, Coulthard, Kubica, Rosberg, Davidson ... need I say more?)

underperformed badly, so even if some of get their act together I can at least prevent further slips down the rankings. Having

Super Aguri, Hamilton, Heidfeld, Wurz and Sato

barely compensated for the catastrophes this time.

Hey, I didn't know there was a f1technical mini league. Please add my team

wisetech

Third year I'm trying this and I'm much better this time, though Red Bull is really not helping me. And Kubica isn't doing so well too...

This was one of my higher-scoring races, even though Ferrari screwed up, as did Alonso, and Kubica flew through the air.

Not good enough though, I'm afraid.
Fortunately the transfer window opens soon.

... it's an uphill struggle.

Oh crap, I just realized I missed the 2nd transfer window. :? Somehow I thought it was after this GP...

I'm surging slightly, pretty

close to breaking into the top 500 once again. And all the while adhering to my philosophy of trying to do things "differently" (i.e. not trying to copy the top performers). My original plan was to shift my emphasis on drivers rather than teams at this point of the season (for a slight advantage in points collecting ability), but have had to realign my plans and as there's only one transfer window remaining, can only shift marginally in that direction anymore.

Score: 4267
Position: 588 / 17697
Position change: +288
Mini league: 5th

314 pts behind the overall leader, so basically I'd have to score ~45 pts more per remaining race than the current leader. Somehow I don't think that'll happen. It'll be interesting to see how high F1T will average in the overall standings, though. Wisetech is still in contention for the top prize.

"Position Change: - 140" for me. And I'm sure it's all downhill from here, could've really used the 2nd transfer window, but I can only blame myself for missing it. :?

Yeah, well if Speed

fails to race again, I'm going to fall short every race from now on (If Vettel replaces him, does the change automatically apply to my team? The rules say nothing about that kind of a scenario, so I'm afraid not.) ... Not to mention I took a risk, fully knowing that McLaren could end up being subtracted points this week at the Paris hearing but adding them to my team nonetheless. Oh, the uncertainty ...
