Thank you manchild, nice pictures. It sure takes this old man down memory lane, and I wish the younger fans could be exposed to such courage, verve, and talent. He was something very special, and I still miss Gilles.

Thanks, one of the pics among GV group shows Carlos Reutrerman in his Ferrari, so don't mix it with GV.

There's also amazing pic of Ronnie Peterson as well as few various ones. Check the airboxes on that Brabham!

Of course that Brabham had the infamous Alfa flat-12, those air boxes would have been feeding straight into the intakes rather than splitting the air flow in a central air box. Is that a testing pic? I've never seen that before.

No, I don't think it is. It looks like the Lotus 79 of 1979. it didn't acheive a single win that year haveing taken the championship in '78.
This is it at a Donnington show presumable.
