Now this is getting funny. And I do hope it keeps that way and doesn't turn into serious fact. :?

Some (usually crappy, I might add) sites are claiming that someone at Ferrari planted the stuff into Coughlans apartment and hinted that to the police. While I can see the benefit from that, I really doubt there's any truth in this. Or should I say I really hope that's not the case.

Has Coughlan told his side of the story yet?

I need additional information, please. Isn't Stepney's apartment close to the Ferrari factory, in Italy? And isn't it logical to assume Coghlan's apartment is close to the McLaren factory, in Great Britain? Additionally, for the police to search someone's apartment in the UK, they need a warrant, and probable cause? I really have trouble with the entire legal process, where a search in someone's apartment in Italy can lead to a search in someone's aprtment in the UK.

I beleive they went to the English authorities, and recieved a separate warrent from them on the basis of what they had learned in Italy.
"Ferrari reviewed the evidence and consulted London lawyers towards the end of last week. Ferrari then made an urgent application to the High Court in London on 2 July for the court's assistance.

It now really seems to by like Rob W guessed.
They both tried to take the information to Honda and
hopped for good jobs there.
The story came out by Coughlans wife who copyed the
500 pages of information in an puplic britisch shop.

Rob W was so well informed that I wounder if he self is a part of the game? 8)

By the way does anybody know now what caused the serious problems
at Schumachers Ferrari in the last two races 2006.

To remember you there was an engine fault in Japan.
There was a fuel pump damage in the qualifing in Brasil.
And there was a misterious problem at the race where the
Ferrari some times seems to fall out due to a technical problem.

This is really not normal on his car. Remember his last engine problem
was Hockenheim 2001.
Does anybody know why the engine blow up, and why the car had this power losts during the race, and the fuel pump got damaged?

It seems like the man who always get blamed for cheating (manchild and
other ("idiots")) now got stolen for his 8 title.

This man is not normal. I am serious!
From the way he talked in this article:
http://www.f1-live.com/f1/en/headlines/ ... 5552.shtml
specifically when he talked about tracking and spying gear in his house, in addition to car chases.
These claims indicate either one of two things:
1- Ferrari is a "MAFIA"! which i personally doubt.
2- Stepney is suffering from a spsychotic disease called "Paranoia Psychosis": a psychotic behavior accompanied by persecutory or grandiose delusions with few other signs of personality or thought disturbance. I have seen a couple of people with the same disease saying the same exact words!!!! THIS IS NOT A JOKE!

Talk about being abnormal:
Nigel Stepney wrote:But do you think (chief designer) Nicolas Tombazis came to Ferrari from McLaren without something in his mind? The new Ferrari front end aero came from McLaren, because it was in his head.
Which adds up to what? Zero keel!? like half the grid!?
