For the life of me, I cannot understand why Nico pitted three times and threw away points. Apart from Alonso's inspired passing at the beginning, the race became a boring procession, and only Kimi dogging Hamilton and the occasional incident or retirement provided entertainment.
The steward's decision against McLaren overshadowed the entire affair, damping my usual enthusiasm and casting a morbid pall over the track. Bloody shame, we just don't need this kind of crap.
I don't know who to feel sorry for. Massa for being stuck in the back, or Barrichello for suffering even worse. At least Button had a merciful retirement, that was probably the only good thing that happened to him this weekend.

I was very surprised with Nico's three pit stops..I thought they were going for a two stopper...maybe there was a problem with the fuel rig..if not I have no idea why they went to a three stopper..he lost a lot of time at that last pit stop
Simon: Nils? You can close in now. Nils?
John McClane: [on the guard's phone] Attention! Attention! Nils is dead! I repeat, Nils is dead, ----head. So's his pal, and those four guys from the East German All-Stars, your boys at the bank? They're gonna be a little late.
Simon: [on the phone] John... in the back of the truck you're driving, there's $13 billon dollars worth in gold bullion. I wonder would a deal be out of the question?
John McClane: [on the phone] Yeah, I got a deal for you. Come out from that rock you're hiding under, and I'll drive this truck up your ass.

Some teams just had to go for 3 because soft tyres were useless for their cars. The only way for them to was to run most of the race on harder tyres so they opted to run 3/4 of the race on harder tyres while more superior teams opted for 2/3 on harder tyres.
