I assume he thinks Hamilton will be tormented by his supposed "failure" last year. Which could lead to him over driving out of desperation and therefore leading himself to disaster.

This is 1 theory, but I don't think anyone will know how Lewis will cope with the loss of the WDC until the first 3 races have been completed.

I personally think Lewis is far too controlled to let last year phase him. He knows that his mistake was trying to close out in China, risking too much. I don't think he'll make that mistake again.

Hamilton doesn't have a mental problem [-X far from it..

What ever happens he'll come back stronger. As a rookie he broke all known records and beat the reigning 2x world champ. The team let him down in China and lost the WDC for him. I don't think he'll make the same mistake again.

Any set back the guy takes on the chin and turns it into a positive, much like Schumi used to do. His family have a great attitude and have over-come much to get where they are today.

For instance, when he was bullied at school, he didn't curl up and go shy - He went to karate and boxing lessons.

I wouldn't under estimate that guy - he's a great driver and has a bright future. =D>

I do agree with your core point, but please tell me how exactly the blame lies with the team when Hamilton's tyres were shot, especially in comparison to Alonso(bold, because same car), Raikkonen. He probably put too much faith into the teams decision but blame should be equally spread.

Now if anything I believe Lewis will come back a dominant team member, if he wants to pit he"ll come in and force the team to give him a pitstop when he wants and he feels its right, not let them influence him (Nurburgring, and importantly China).

Hyun, I know English is not your first language but the predictions were put for only Australia race (round 1).

Heidfield I have said many times is probably the most underrated driver out there overall. His just as good as Alonso and probably just as consistent in grabbing results.
I disagree with a few of your predictions but we"ll see

Do not agree with the statement about Lewis. His big mistake at China was pushing too hard when coming into the pits. But a lot of this is inexperience and he will have learnt from this.

My concern for Mclaren is that I do not know whether LH and HK can push the development of the car in the right way in the sameway as Alonso does and did at Mclaren. Last year Lewis seemed to go the wrong way on car setup more often than Alonso, but again this will come as he gains more experience and I also think that Heikki is under-rated and will push Lewis, he had the upperhand on Fisichella once he had settled in at renault but still do not know about his car development ability.

Lewis lost his own championship, there was nothing stopping him saying, look the car is UNDRIVEABLE I'm coming in, or just coming in anyway, he only needed to score 2 points to win the championship... I can see how the team can be blamed too but I'd say the blame lies equally with the both of them. Then in Brazil he didn't need to make the insane lunge at Alonso at the start and it's possible that the car was damaged when he ran wide over the ripple strip and run off area (Unlikely I admit) but possible.

That said, I don't think Lewis will suffer, he is a spectacularly good driver.

I don't think it's as easy as it seems, I mean for the entire weekend he's almost programmed himself breaking points into the pits, its not something you'd think about a lot. But when a super odd situation comes up, like your tires being worn down to the kevlar, a small misstep in a car that will punish for a small misstep in ideal conditions anyway isn't that bad. He could have pulled a DC and done that in the dry, then we'd have something to talk about.

Look, in China, Lewis made a driving error, nothing more, nothing less. It was in the worst possible conditions, with totally worn out tires on a drying track, he had just been passed by Fernando, and the pit-lane was still completely wet while the rest of the track was bone dry. Anyone could have done the same mistake. The team also made a mistake: They should have warned him about the slippery pit lane, and they could have taken him in earlier (although that would have meant he would need another splash'n'dash before the finish).

The only conclusion I can draw from this mistake is that Lewis is human after all. He was super-human the rest of the season, so give the kid a break mmmkay? :)

And in brasil, lewis said he would drive for the championship, not the race. He seemed to have forgotten those words just 3 corners after the start, proving he is not world champion material. Then he went on and overcooked his gearbox and bye bye championship. Oh, and the FIA have altered the rules so there wont be a crane for lewis next time he is stuck in the gravel after yet another mistake.
