Re the FW08 I think it was the extreme short wheel base rendered the very good maneuverbility, ie. turns very quickly?

Nope, it was another (technical) advantage ( or better two). Especially in wet conditions.

Contact patch and power-split, in-between differential, having only 120-130 Hp on each wheel?

Ah you mean the 6-wheel version of FW08, now I get that... What I've heard was that March 240 was a car of massive understeer, same as Farrari 312T6 (not sure bout the name).

My go;
When the Tecno PA 123 was presented in 1972, there was one immediate and very embarrassing problem with the car, what?

On a wet track they could run slicks on the rearmost axle, as the tyres in front swept the track and they could run extended tunnels.

It was wider than the allowed 110cm.
