After mclaren systematically destroyed what many regarded as one of the best overtakers in the bizniz(juan pablo montoya) id hate to see yet another talent like vettel go to waste in the grey and black team.

Im praying for kovalainen though. I like that kid. He had the fastest racelap of Bahrain. Lewis Hamilton had the 19th fastest racelap. Thats gotta hurt.

Yes, mechanical failures seem to be the norm for STR this year.

Mechanical failures don't seem to be affecting Bordais from consistently out performing the supposedly Ferrari bound Vettel. Total laps completed in 4 races = 39.
Same story with Sutil. Prior to season start, I heard rumors of Sutil going to all kinds of top teams. Total laps completed in 4 races = 68.

I reckon DC will step aside at Red Bull at the end of this season and let Vettel take his seat and start to chase Webber.
I doubt he'll go to Ferrari, he's not experienced enough yet imho.

Agree (although "dynamited aside" might be more accurate than "step aside." DC has long overstayed his welcome!). What's worse (for Vettel), unless he can turn things around he won't gain much experience this season.

Chase Webber? Aboout time for him to think about DTM, NASCAR or another series. RBR has lots of money, good technical team and two old drivers. The picture there just seems a bit skewed, imho. Why not bring in young blood? (It would be a good marketing move, too)

Vettel had some very bad luck with mechanical failure or accidents that were unavoidable to him. his time will come. he is committed to be back at BMW latest in 2010. by that time he may replace Heidfeld. not such a bad plan. if STR cannot give him a decent car and Red Bull isn't going to work out for him next year he will simply have to wait. but I'm confident that he will have some good times again.

I think they should keep Webber, DC has done a great Job in getting RBR up to speed and they would do well to keep Webber, as he's shown he is fast, getting rid of two experienced drivers for two fresh ones isn't exactly the best move. It hasn't gone too well for McLaren, at least at the start of the season.
Vettel and Webber would be good to see. Webber to bring in the experience of building the car and Vettel to learn from him.

Kubica to Ferrari in 2009 would be a good move (I assume to replace Massa). Only problem there, as was pointed out for the possible Fernando switch, would be the two drivers causing conflict between each other.

I suspect that BMW will try and keep Kubica for all they can. They can't really afford to lose him as for Nick, he's not so quick anymore, so I suspect someone would replace him. As to whom...I'm not sure, possibly Davidson

Greetings! My first post on this forum! So out with the skeletons I'm i big Ferrari Honk! I'll pull for anyone they trot out there! I used to dispise Fred, but now even against my own better judgement I find myself pulling for him. Not because I'm a fan. I respect his craft, and after all with two WDC's he is the most accomplished pilot of the current crop. I didn't say best. That is too subjective for me!
On to Monaco, and Massa!
Being an ex Baseball player I'm a big believer in streaks. FM is on a hot streak
I don't see it ending this race.
There are a lot of factors to consider, when contemplating Monaco. Anything can happen.
I just look for a good race out of Massa. And he's "Hot to Fu(K"!
Did you see the look on his face when he took his helmet off in Turkey?
Quali will be more important in this race than anyone before or after.
The McLarens will be very strong. BMW will disappoint!
as usual the car that rounds turn one first is very likely the winner

Fred may have a good finish. But don't count on it. A second race Renault engine. Not a good wager!JMHO
