You are correct, he said no such thing, but that is the current situation is it not? Indy is the best suited place for F1 in the US since 2000, and should be holding the race until a better place can be found or built.

All the FOTA teams complaining about having no USGP, but yet none of them(Honda, Merc, BMW, Toyota) stepped up and sponsored the race, pathetic.

And yes I can compare Indy to Monaco.

I'm not that much against Induanapolis. If I could choose from Indy GP or NYC street Valencia look-alike I'd definitely chose the first. But there are quite a few wonderful racetracks in US like Road Atlanta, Road America, Barber, Glen and others which would create much better racing.

Yes, technically it's not prohibited. But doesn't look like a valid comparison, imo.

This makes no sense.

Let's try again. Formula 1 cars shine especially in fast corners
According to who? If you want to watch flat-out high speed open wheel, watch IRL.

I'd much rather watch racing through slow, traction-limited corners that makes the driving INTERESTING, rather than just flooring the gas and cruising.

I've allways thought a combo of several different types of corners make for a good racetrack.

I'm struggling to see why Singapore is more interesting than Spa or Silverstone. Like during Valencia race I was begging for at least a crash!

I was watching the race at the pub this morning (yes, at the pub at 8am drinking beer) and this dude said he liked the Singapore track. I just gave him a stern look of disapproval.

It looks good, being all lit up and with the shining cars but otherwise, no chance.

He is at a bar drinking at 8 am and you expect words of wisdom from him?

I never ever said I wanted corners that are taken flat out. Is copse taken flat out? No. Is Pouhon taken flat out? No. Is the Maggotts-Beckett-Chapel complex taken flat out? No. Was the old 130R taken flat out? No.

It seems you and me just have different tastes anyway.
I am not amazed by F1 cars in Monaco. I want to see them driving in the A8 highway: Variable radius corners, negative banking, and extreme narrowings that Tilke has never dreamed off. Oh, yes, and "beautiful" weather tops it all.

No worries. I enjoyed the joke.

Islam, if you live in NYC, you should join us. We're gonna be at a bar for next week again. 1am race should be a drunk race.

Watching F1 races with motorhead friends helps to stay awake at races like Singapur or Valencia... drop that sh*t and bring back the ol Hockenheim f*cking cheap Bernie rat!
