Who have confirmed their drivers for 2010 already.

I think Kimi would fit well with Brawn. Ross is a very level-headed guy who has proven himself able to work with all kinds of, er...passionate people.

I remember when Kimi moved to Ferrari and Alonso to Mclaren, there was a statement form the Mclaren engineers about how they have not seen the same outright speed in Alonso that Kimi had.

Anyway its all part of the silly season. Hamilton to Torro Rosso!!!

I also remember Norbert Haug saying Ferrari better build their engines like tanks because Kimi was always blowing them. Must have been a Kimi thing, I know the McLaren engines were ver unreliable in the early 2000's but Ferraris engines were bullet proof, and then Kimi goes to Ferrari and they all of a sudden keep blowing up!

I don't think Kimi would ever consider McLaren again, not after Ron introduced the non-partying rule.

Ok Maybe I was wrong in saying Norberg said those things...

I think Massa has blown more engines then Kimi the last 2 years... Ridiculous. The problem with the Mercedes engines in the early 2000's wasn't with Kimi, but with Mercedes themselves.

From what I remember - Kimi's engines blowing up was a step forward for McLaren in the early 2000's, becuase at one point Mika Hakkinen getting off the starting grid was considered a "step forward" for McLaren!

Albeit I would say McLarens engine is probally one of the most reliable in the paddock at the moment. I wonder if all these engines that Mercedes supply Brawn are identical to Maccas or if they are old stock lol

Kimi causes engine blows? Bollocks! To any objective F1 fan who is not ignorant, it is well known that McLaren suffered infamous reliability problems during the time Kimi was there. The reason Kimi suffered so many problems is a combination of bad luck, and also because he was able to drive the pants off the car more so than Montoya. Kimi always was able to push the car to the limit. Kimi has even shown that he can drive a damaged car fast, until it falls apart or the engine blows.

Before Kimi got to Ferrari, they had reliability issues. Check the 2006 season where both Massa and Schumi had a few reliability issues. Also it is correct that Massa arguably has had more reliability problems over the past few years than Kimi.

I also don't see where people are getting this idea that Kimi is going back to McLaren. Where is the source for this? Kimi never got along that much with Ron at McLaren, and he left the team on a bad note. Kimi really was happy to leave the team. I would be really surprised honestly if he goes to McLaren. I personally think that Kimi either will go to Brawn possibly, maybe Toyota, or just retire.

Even Kimi has said he will be in F1 next year, if not with Ferrari then another team who wants him. Id be shocked if Toyota are their next year, however a move to Brawn or Red Bull is possible, assuming they can give him loads of alcohol and lets face it - we know the red bull motor home is the best for the paddock parties ;)

Whitmarsh would never let Kimi keep his James Hunt look.
