Kimi to McLaren for 2010

Kimi, although he is not one for "expressing" his feelings, as publically said that if Ferrari do not want him, other teams are interested...

Massa has thrown a big spanner in the works. The whole driver market depends on Alonso moving to Ferrari, and that could all well depend on Massa recovering. So assuming Massa recovers - which he will do, and is fit for 2010 then what next?

We all know that Massa has for 2 years outpaced Kimi - in terms of championship points.. so why get rid of him for Alonso. So it makes sense to keep Massa and invite in Alonso, and thus ditch Kimi.

So now what if Renault pull out of F1 this year, and lets be honest.. could well happen... Where is Alonso going? Sabatical? BrawnGP?

One things for sure, kimi aint going back to mclaren

well, not im my opinion. he said he hated it there and called ron dennis a control freak. and although ron is gone (that rhymes ) his public slamming of mclaren wouldn't have gone down well.

Id say hes going to fiat for the WRC next year. its where his heart is and lets face it, he does what he likes.

I guess anything is possible really. I can see Kimi going back to McLaren, and I don't think that will be counter productive to either Kimi nor McLaren. McLaren need a quick driver, Kimi would want to be in a championship winning team, which I don't think people can debate McLaren's history definetley proves that.

Of course if he does he will have to deal with Hamilton, which I don't think will bother Kimi too much... DC didn't bother him, nor JPM, nor Massa, and he was apparently joining Ferrari regardless of wether Schumacher was staying or retiring. So in that respect I don't think Kimi really cares too much who his team mate is, I think so he is only interested in himself doing the best what he can.

On the other hand, I think he has the highest probability to stay at Ferrari. After all, he is contracted for 2010 there. If he continues to put in stellar performances like he did from Budapest onwards, then I don't see a reason why Ferrari would want to give him the axe. Plus it depends on what McLaren are going to do also. Its no doubt Heikki needs to string some stellar performances together if he wants to stay at McLaren, but I think he can do that, and possibly a GP win before seasons end.

Agree with last comment! kimi doesnt give a toots hoot about his co-driver, and he didnt slag off Macca too much, just said Ferrari give him a bit more freedom!

Plus Martin arsemarsh has alraedy said how much he thinks Kimi has uped his game
