Brief transcript, Reginaldo Leme claims that FIA had a private company investigating the race events.

Piquet is not mentioned as a source or investigation starter, only guilty part.

Of course there's a connection to Piquet.

The news agency most likely knew of this a long time ago.

Trouble is, had they done it while Nelson was still driving for Renault, he would have denied it outright to protect his place in the team.

Now, however, there is no reason for Nelson to protect Renault.

Why didn't they break this news a few weeks ago, when Nelson was sacked?

Massa's crash, the subsequent Schumacher-mania, all that stuff, meant that this would never have gotten the attention it warranted.

Only now, since things have calmed down somewhat in F1, would it make sense to drop a bomb like this one.

This one might sprout legs yet, and run itself very, very far...

Oh crap, more dirt and scandal in Formula One.

One thing for sure, Piquet's career in Formula One has fallen into a black hole.

All the new teams will want someone with recent F1 experience, and he's one of the few such drivers available.

My guess is, one of them is going to be poor and desperate enough come testing season that they'd take anyone on who fits that decription, even if he's got a bad reputation.

And he'll take any drive he gets.

Even odds, he'll be back for 2010, 75% he's back in 2011. If he's not back by then, he won't be.

Well, of course, that was planned as well. Ferrari knew they were going to get Alonso in 2010 and they wanted him to take a win. So Ferrari pushed the "special" button to make Nelsinho crash and the pit lights work incorrectly for Massa.
And obviously the FIA won't find anything because they are friends with Ferrari so they will not punish them like they should. So blame Schumi, Luca DiMo, and the garage sweeper at Ferrari who made it all possible.
