That's my problem with drivers like Petrov. He's not better than De La Rosa nor a good looking girl. He just happens to bring loads of cash.

Are you saying men have smaller number of legs?

PS: I hope we'll see Sarah Moore progressing towards the highest level of motorsport in a few years time.

copied from the USF1 thread (mods.. you guys can thank me later  )
Pandamasque wrote:So dispite having the TF110 Stefan would buy the Dallara project so that anyone else (like USF1) wouldn't be able to get it? Why not just buy the entry then?

Because Campos probably isn't willing to sell it at the moment & its their entry to sell.

If the Dallara contract is forfeited, it is Dallara's to sell.. SGP buys it, ridding the market of any available design.
This would leave Campos with nothing but a 2010 F1 Licence.. they'd be forced to sell at this stage, most probably at an undervalued figure.. cheap entry for StefanGP!

RacecarEngineer: we are hearing that the Kolles/Campos deal is done

Also, as article in Turun Sanomat says that an announcement on the wrapping-up of the Campos effort is eminent. They say that Dalara has restarted work on the chassis, but for a different team - possibly with Geoff Willis coming in on the project.

Could mean that she could run with a fuller tank and have the engine run at full power more, meaning more fuel per lap is burnt, meaning a charge thrugh the feild is posible.

Kolles and Wills would be a killer partnership. Id expect that the Campos orginisation woould go under the Campos name till the 2 year Cosworth engine deal is up. Then id expect that VW to announce they are entering the sport via their Audi marque, with a full team from 2012 onward.

No. The driver+car weight has to be 620kg or greater at all times. If you had a lighter car/driver and put in extra fuel which was burnt off in the race then you would fail the weight limit in the post race scrutineering.

If the Dallara cars go to USF1, then what happens to Campos with Kolles?

autosport coming up with a new story on Campos, not even mentioning USF1 or Hurley???

Carabante taking control and has hired willis and colles to run the team

and a possible race seat for chandhok...or baguette... no mention of lopez....

silly season .....for once the off season is a thriller ...with teams that may even

not make it to the track...
