Pit Floor paint

Just wondering.

Who paints the floor in the pits? I assume the teams either do it or it is done by the circuit shortly before the teams arrive to start setting up.

I know that McLaren used to tile their pits but now don't.

i wasn't aware the pits were re-painted for f1 weekend

I don't know who does it but most of them are painted with a two part paint. Silverstone and Brnds are deadly. I personally have gone over on spilt fuel and seen someone go flying on a tiny bit of spilt water.

I remember when McLaren tiled the wrong garage at Silverstone and had to ask permission to move from there alloted pit...
