Never thought too much about Buemi but I have been impressed by him, plus he is extremely young, which is another positive about him.
Kobayashi somehow impresses me every week and Im glad to see the Sauber team on the rise.

He seems to be getting into his stride in F1 though, young Vitaly

Vitaly has improved a lot over the course of the year.
Another young talent that has shown a lot as the season has went on is Nico Hulkenburg...he isnt looking half bad today at Monza so far, even though he has cut the chicane miltiple times, haha!

Budget wise, I'd go with Williams' pairing.

If Sauber holds on to Kobayashi and Heidfeld next year with a little bit better car, they will have a lot of solid finishes and consistent point scoring

Seb's huge value at 2M so he's a must. To pair him, I don't know. Of the cheaper drivers, Sutil is the most experienced, but I almost feel that's he's had his chance to shine and not really showed it, although his 2008 Monaco performance was pretty awesome (before getting Kimi'd). So if you rule Sutil out, then a bit of unknown talent perhaps would be best, so, I think I'll pick Chandhok.

Vettel + Chandock = Champagne at the Xmas do.

I agree with Vettel obviously, I think he's top 3 in the sport right now but if you were to start a team today, he would be wanting (and deserving) more than 2M. Chandok is a good one though, young so he has a lot of room to learn and he doesnt have too big of an ego to be a good team driver. I think Sutil is majorly overrated though. The only impressive performance all year was Spa.

Kobayashi and Sutil.

Both are fantastically able, both aggressive and both have the ability to overtake(more so in Koba's case).
I hope both get top drives in future.
More could have been done.

How about Malaysia for Sutil?

Vettels pay is probably 2mil, outside of what he wants for results. Hypothetically he could want as much as 1 million a race win if he has a god car. I you give him a midfield car that more than likely he can't win in, he'll renegiate the retainer fee to a bigger value.

Sutil & Buemi, 2 underrated drivers. And if anything i'll bring back Piquet; the kid had potential.
For Sure!!

I just started following F1 seriously the past two years so I didnt see much of Piquet, but I do know the previous 2 or so years before this year werent the best for Renault, so I wouldnt mind seeing Piquet back in a car.

Even though he crashed on purpose to give his teammate a win?

Kovalainen has impressed me actually. He's enjoying his time developping the Lotus car, bringing the team forward. He's really much more of a leader figure than Trulli is. It's what F1 and teams should be about. The driver who works his way up with the team. For me, if you're talking on a budget, I'd take Kovalainen and Kubica, or Kovalainen and Vettel.
