It took two hours to get Webber fitted to the cockpit of the RB7 because his knees were hitting the brake bias lever when he was using the pedals. Three day test are obviously not optimal for a shared test car. Ferrari opted to give two days to Alonso and only one to Massa. Mercedes ha similar problems on Tuesday when they ran Rosberg and Schumacher on a split day. It took hours to prepare the cockpit for Schumacher who only took to the track for 45 min on that day.

Shouldn't those issues have been ironed out in seat fitting though? And Webbo's been with the team what? five years? Shouldn't those small issues be ironed out by now?

Thats why i think there should be twin car tests again, but limit each driver to the amount of days a driver can drive in testing for and the overall amount of distance a team can cover each day. I think each driver should be limited to only 7 days testing before a season starts and also a team should be limited to 500km plus 1 lap each day for example. This way cars can be set up for drivers at the start of each day and also it means there is opportunity for younger drivers to drive the car and not be in the position that some have been in the last two seasons where they don't know the car.

Still early days. Alonso puts these early testing days in perspective:

This is true, but somehow I get the feeing that this year may be even closer than 2010. Even if it is very early, F150 look pretty solid to me and we do not know what McLaren, Renault and Mect have in their pockets.

Yes, they should. Unless the car was designed around a smaller driver...
If you are more fortunate than others, build a larger table not a taller fence.

With the tires degrading quite quickly, do you think it would be a good idea to bet on Button to become world champion?

I heard via twitter that the real cause of the problem was Vettel refusing to get out of the car!

Don't be fooled by the team propaganda. The real reason was some pieces of competitive equipment which had to be removed from the cockpit before Webber took over. It is all part of the dark Austrian side to pull young Vettel into their machinations and defeat the Jedi Webber.

Anybody here feels that Force India will get some advantage of aero package which they lost last year because of the F-duct?

Too early to speculate what FI can do as their car isn't available to analysis.

Is it just me, or does that car look to be understeering horribly.

(Could be just the camera angle etc... but it doesn't compare well to the Renault beneath it.)
