Cannonball run: 101 years of irresponsible racing

Post

Are you bored? Are you one of those who, on other threads, ask about cars that have strong grip in open roads? (hi, djones!).

Well, you know that in this day and age, having strong grip on open roads is about to become illegal, along with transfat, watching documentaries in the school, selling Microsoft Word and, of course, watching porn.

So, lemme share the article I read yesterday, April's fool day, about the new record in crossing the United States from New York to Los Angeles in a car.

Click here and read the 6,300 words story: NY to L in 26 hours 8 minutes in a GT-R powered dual control Infiniti Q50

If you find this interesting, you might want to read a bit about Erwin Baker and his records.

I read the story yesterday.

I must also recommend the original Brock Yates car and driver article. Its amazing how accurate the gumball movie was.

Oh, c'mon, Greg, you spoil the joke...

Let's say that all the people that had the same Hot Wheels car collection I had?

They are apparently designing new cars these days...

Honda unveils new Civic.
