Sauber C31 Ferrari

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Yes, it gives the car greater straightline speed (i.e DRS).

Maybe they want to stall it?
Nothing to gain from stalling the beam wing.

The beam wing works with the diffuser as a system...its had to rule out the effects of stalling the beam wing.

It seems no new painting schema with Chelsea sponsor.

Finishing races is important, but racing is more important.

Looks like Sauber were happy with the McLaren style exhaust solution then.

Funny looking chassis...Definately not C29 or C30. Not any BMW-Sauber chassis either. Doesn't look like a pre-2006 Sauber either. Perhaps a non-Sauber chassis painted up in current livery? Any guesses?

maybe C24, but also 2006 or 08 would work maybe for this dirty bastard. definitely pre 2009.

Its the VJM02 from 2009. The wing mirrors are a dead give-away.

VJM02 ran a much higher nose, and why would sauber have a FI car?

Also the VJm02 had very sculpted sidepods.

Same reason RBR have a Minardi?

Edit: Or is it an Arrows? Or bits of both? I forget, but I'm referring to the RB Show Car. which means this post and those above won't be here long :D
