Interesting to see how...simple their front wings are compared to others like the top runners and teams like Williams and Sauber. I'd be curious to hear what DiResta and Hulkenberg feel about front downforce levels for the car.

you can put more front downforce only if you have good rear downforce, in force india case, simplifer front wing means maybe better top speed, but real reason is lacking rear downforce.

Ah. I see. I did read on another thread or another article about how the balance has been eschewed to the front due to the 2009 regulations. Thanks for the insight.

That slit is interesting on the rear wind side plate. Have you seen something like that in other cars?

Vertical gills, I never seen that before.

They ran the same wing last year, also with similair gills in the end plates

Interesting how more and more teams are adopting the shallow rear wing middle section despite the disadvantages of more severe wing tip vortices.

With more shallow tips you can place less gills.

Also the center will work in a more optimal flow field that way.
