Mercedes AMG F1 W03

They didn't even tested different exhausts. Honestly, their copying is very slow. They had same FW for 2 years in the row. Also other teams are running with vanes on the bottom of rear wing. Why don't they even try and see if it is better or not.

They were already running a B-Spec car as of Monaco and you're inferring their development is slow?

McLaren's exhaust is not a magic bolt on speed booster. Caterham already tried it and reverted back to their old exhaust. Lotus and Williams are also running a Merc style exhaust. Heck, RBR is running a Sauber style exhaust. There is not a definitive answer to the exhaust question.

You clearly dont know anything about development of a car... You cant just copy something, this isnt a standarlized championship, not everything works on ever car just cause it does on one.

How do you know? Outright speed is one thing, but Mercedes appear to be running a fat rear wing on the W03(more drag on the straights, even with DDRS).
By having more wing, you sacrifice top end, but gain more in aero dependant areas like the insection. Depends on tyre degredation, but I think we will see the W03 come alive in the race.
More could have been done.

CFD and reality are not always the same. Also if everything doesn't work on every car, wtf others copied rbr's ebd? Why Ferrari copies mclaren's exhaust? And why rbr saubers exhaust, if everything doesn't work on every car. Reality is not the same as programming and wind tunnels.

But again, YOU DONT KNOW IF MERCEDES EXHAUST IS WORSE THEN MCLAREN OR RED BULLS...

Also the EBD wasnt something that affected airflow in such a huge area as the sidepod, you just routed the exhaust to the floor and was WINNING.

very clearly Mercedes have shifted their efficiency towards running higher downforce numbers compared to the years before.
Surprisingly they did start into the year with that high topspeed approach but have developped into one of the lowest topspeed teams in the last weeks but still are contenders for top results.

My sentiments exactly.
They lack the downforce compared to Red Bull. so they add wing and sacrifice their strength(top end) to achieve better race pace. Who knows how it may work out in terms of tyre degradation too, I'd prefer more wing going into a race than less even if it means a couple of grid slots.
More could have been done.

It seems they added too much wing on one of the cars.

At 2:15: "The aerodynamic pressure will always push down the rear wing so you will never end up with a stuck rear wing, that's impossible."

Also what was the Mercedes mechanic fiddling with when he stuck his hand in the rear hole of the car?? Is there anything there that could keep the DRS opened?!

Does it have any link with the stuck DRS? I highly doubt broken hydraulics would stop the DRS from closing...
