:) As any boy racer worth his salt knows; that's at least 0.5 seconds per lap improvement!

I see a very interesting extension of the rear brake ducting interacting with the floor vane below it, effectively channeling the exhaust into the diffuser to seal it. Merc was trying the same last year. They've gone ductless on the front wheels ala Williams. They've also enclosed (as much as rules allow) drive shaft which all the teams seem to be converging on.

I love the see through fins.

All in all not bad.

Perhaps they're thinking of testing the nose with and without the vanity panel?

Okay, so they've revealed their diffuser. What's the big deal apart from LOTS of strakes?

I also want to know what the big deal is with this diffuser. I see a lot of strakes towards the middle.

Maybe it was just psychological warfare in the cutthroat midfield battle with Force India, Sauber and Williams.

It still looks way too bulky around the gearbox area this car, probably why it couldn't take advantage of the channel under the sidepods last year.

Interesting brake winglets, 2 and 2 together sort of.

Ted Kravitz referred to the self-tapping screws holding the vanity panel on* as 'quick release fasteners' and said the team were concerned a stone might fly up and shatter the fragile piece of CF, so they designed it to be detachable during a pit stop should that happen.

A busy day in the toro rosso press office, obviously.
