Should Force India paint the nose of the VJM07? White on top and orange on the sides?

If someone said to me that you can have three wishes, my first would have been to get into racing, my second to be in Formula 1, my third to drive for Ferrari.

"...and there, very much in flames, is Jacques Laffite's Ligier. That's obviously a turbo blaze, and of course, Laffite will be able to see that conflagration in his mirrors... he is coolly parking the car somewhere safe." Murray Walker, San Marino 1985

It kind of looks like they have placed a partial gurney flap on top of the upper element of the front wing.

Too bad that there isn't a HD photo of the FW but it does seems like small Gurney strips on upper elements of the FW, but it could also just be a protection strip for the mechanics:

Pretty much the nose with the best air flow on the grid. Teams are gonna start converging to this pencil design very soon if the regs stay as they are.

Interesting. Does this mean that FI are using the secondary inlet to supply air to the engine? What are they using the traditional main inlet for?

Upper inlet goes to radiators above the gearbox, the main inlet goes down between the engine and fuel tank where the compressor is. You can see the small expansion box where the air filter is housed.

I still have not seen a HQ photo from that FW element but I saw that they used the black strip in both FP1 and FP2, so it has got to be a Gurney strip.

Edit: found a good picture and it conforms the suspicion:

Are they testing new sidepods with more undercut or it's just illusion due to the absence of sahara logo?
