Mclaren MP4-29H

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

I think that's a picture from the Ferrari days since Puma is their sponsor.

I wasn't referring to the photograph. I was referring to this sentence, the last clause in particular.

"He added: "The association McLaren-Honda means a lot. When I was a child growing up I saw the battles between [Ayrton] Senna and [Alain] Prost [who were McLaren team-mates in 1988 and 1989], these famous colours and domination. "
"I started out with nothing and I've still got most of it".

That doesnt mean anything. It is only "sensible" thing' he could say about 80s era.

It needs to be this...simple as, maybe a slight tweak to add Honda but that's close to perfect for any Mclaren fan

I have to agree - stunning is almost an understatement.

But colors will go with major sponsorship. Movistar with Blue & Lime Green & Chrome / Silver might look good too 8)

What's your source? Marca wrote about ongoing meetings between movistar and McLaren and there's nothing about sponsorship announcement.

It was verbal confirmation during the 2014 season review show, and it's bassically a "public secret" in Spain.
Nothing official on paper though.
