Mclaren MP4-30 Honda

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

BUT!

Even considering that other cars are not running at his higher hands, +0,8 from faster Ferrari is 1,4s better than China and 1,6s better than Malaysia.

I will wait until FP2. But I am satisfied.

It would be helpful if the table said what the numbers are.
That table is just a piece of a post, shame it's in portuguese. So the numbers are the diff in sec for best MP4-30 time and best time of each other car in the session (colum).
To do something well is so worthwhile that to die trying to do it better cannot be foolhardy. It would be a waste of life to do nothing with one's ability, for I feel that life is measured in achievement, not in years alone. ― Bruce McLaren

I think the question was more what are numbers reffering to?! Seconds? difference in %?
Cause nothing on that graph is in portuguese!

Thanks...

It is tempting to extrapolate and see when Mcalren will catch up to the front runners.. 8)

incredible how much the lower central elements, extension of the diffuser, forces the exhaust upwards, to such an extent you can see the heat building on the rearwing

Must be, the intensity is too high and located on one side of the support.

Log type exhaust manifolds, presumably for the tightly packaged rear end.

Also doesn't look like a compressor at the front of the engine to me as there is no feed from the aidbox to the front of the engine.
