Mclaren MP4-30 Honda

A place to discuss the characteristics of the cars in Formula One, both current as well as historical. Laptimes, driver worshipping and team chatter do not belong here.

Same wing but not surprised it was only fully introduced at Bahrain.

First shot is not a straight view, it is a perspective. You can see it by looking at the mirrors in different pictures.

I wouldn't give too much weight to these Studio Pictures anyway. Who knows what potential bastard Spec they put together there that may never see the Light of Day.

I highly doubt that. Why would they go through the effort of painting something that won't be used?

Euhm, to not dislose, to mislead competition? Isn't that very common in F1 presentations?

Studio photo's can always be photoshopped, too.

The displayed nose in Barcelona seems to be a tad different, although I can't exclude paintjob illusions. If it is changed, they look to have shaved a bit off at the sides of the tip in front of the pylons.

The old one seems to have a divot in it. While the new has a smooth line.

You might be right , it might be just the slight difference in perspective.
