So,bassicaly Williams can drive 3 monkeys on their car now and all 3 of them can sit.

I think Pat Symonds said that every monkey you can carry gives you 0.8 to 1 second in laptime. It also makes it harder for cars to follow because of the bananas the monkeys eat.

Are they still running the extra winglet. it seems to be hidden in the above pics

I do not think they are testing today the 2 monkey seats. But they are using the rear flap at least partial opened.

Anybody else here think that this is a test for a proposed regulation change?

They ARE planning to make the cars much faster after the next 2 years. Those two winglets would be a very easy way to gain a lot of aero benefits, probably more because they'll be able to control the drag and dirty air induced by the rear tyres.

Yeah it looks like they are testing different rear downforce levels. Easy gains with the winglets and diffuser skirts, and easy losses with the ajar rear wing.

Besides what Bottas tells you, it was very weird seeing a car drive around with DRS open... Williams is up to some weird things.
